Audition Information

Ignite! auditions are currently scheduled for Saturday, March 29th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Auditions are for current company member and dancers looking to join Ignite! as potential company members. The auditions is an assessment of a dancers’ technical ability, problem-solving, and performance quality. Dancers must be at least 10 years old to audition.

Dancers will be assessed on:

• Ballet Technique

• Modern Technique

• Improvisation

• Composition

• Learning Choreography

• General Appearance

Dancers will need to wear a leotard with transition tights and bring with them ballet shoes, jazz shoes, and a water bottle. Dancers’ hair should be pulled back in a bun or in a style that allows the hair to be off the face if the hair is not long enough for a bun.

Dancers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the audition for registration and self warm up.
